With the awarding of $25,000 in 2010, the Chicago/Midwest Chapter scholarship program has donated more than $250,000 since the mid-1990s.  The Chapter created The NATAS Chicago Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization to gather tax-deductable contributions for its scholarship program and individuals have joined with the TV Academy in sponsoring scholarships for college seniors and graduate students.  To continue its support of the mission, the leadership of the Chapter – members of the Board of Governors – also donated a scholarship.  Ongoing donations are being accepted from members of the TV Academy for the establishment of a NATAS Chicago/Midwest Member Scholarship to be awarded as funds reach the $4,000 level.
