Obituary

Robert Shaprio died on Nov. 20, 2008. He was honored by the Chicago Chapter of the Board of Governors of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences at the 8th Annual Emmy Awards for "continued high professional standards of quality contributing to the technical excellence of television" presented May 31, 1966 in Chicago, IL. He was one of the pioneers of television broadcasting.
